U14 Girls League
Athlone v St. Lomans

Our U14 girls played their third league game of the year on Tuesday 17th June and made it three wins out of three after a comfortable victory over St Loman's in Pairc Chiarain. The visitors could only field 13 players so the game had to be played 13 aside. Athlone started brightly and gained complete control early on and the scores flowed quickly with a point from Niamh McGann followed by a point from Brionna Geoghegan and then Brionna broke through to score our first goal of the night. Points followed from Grace Halligan, Ashley Cuffe, Kelly Brill and Niamh McGann (2) and Brionna while Grace also scored a  goal. Loman's recorded their only score of the game with a point late in the half to give a half time score of Athlone 4-7 St Loman's 0-1.

The second half started as the first half ended with points from Nadia Molloy, Grace and Niamh and when Brionna and Grace broke through for two quick goals the score was 6-10 to 0-1. We then brought on all our subs and the game became a bit disjointed and Loman's scored two quick points but these were followed with points from Grace and then Emily O'Callaghan. However we lost our concentration near the end and Loman's scored 3-1 to leave the final score at Athlone 6-12 : St Loman's 3-4.
