Underage Training

Football for boys and girls age 4-12 takes place every Sunday from 11.30-12.30 in Pairc Chiarain. New players of all abilities very welcome, first year is free and bring a friend for fun, fitness and friendship. Any queries contact Joe Fallon at 086 8846731

Easter GAA Camp

Athlone GAA club will host a GAA camp from 23rd to the 26th of April from 10am to 2.30pm (early drop-off at 9am is also available at and additional cost of €5) for ages 5-12 years. Cost is €45 for 1st child, €40 for second and €35 for 3rd, there is also a €5 discount if you book online at  Any queries please contact Darren Magee at (086) 8055354. Well done to our own Noelie Mulligan and the Westmeath Senior team on winning Division 3 of the National League last Sunday in Croke Park versus Laois.

Also a big congratulations and best wishes to Emmet & Fiona Collins on the birth of their daughter Harper.


Gaelic for Mothers & Others is back on Monday nights from 8-9pm.  Ladies of all abilities and none very welcome.  Come along to Pairc Chiarain to get fit and have some fun.

U14 Division 1 League

Athlone v Coralstown Kinnegad – Congratulations to our u14 side who had a comprehensive victory over Coralstown/Kinnegad in the league on Thursday last. Well done to all 23 players who lined out during the course of the game and contributed to a great win. Up next is FEILE on the 20th April, details to follow.

U10 Go –Games

Our U9s and U10s had their first outing of 2019 with a home game against Castledaly. Well done to all 25 Athlone players who participated in a very tight contest. Both sides showed great skill and team play throughout. A big thanks to Castledaly for travelling over.
