Best of luck for the season to the Westmeath senior football team who begin their league campaign against Carlow in Cusack Park on Sunday. Best of luck especially to our representatives on the panel - John Connellan, John Egan, Noel Mulligan, Jordan Marshment and Alan Gaughan.

Well done to the Marist College Under 14 team who won the Leinster U14 'A' Championship recently and especially to the Athlone GAA players involved - Eamon Martin, Dylan Gavin, Shaun Fox and Ben Killian.  Hard luck to Moate Community School who were defeated in the senior final.

Training for the following teams has resumed:

Senior and junior men - Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm (note the change from Saturday evenings).  We have a challenge match against Western Gaels of Roscommon arranged for this weekend in Páirc Chiaráin, throw-in time to be confirmed.

Junior women - Fridays at 6.30pm.  New players are welcome, just come along on Friday or contact 085 8144581.

U16 & U14 Girls - Sunday from 12-30pm to 1.15pm. New players of all abilities are very welcome, come along to Páirc Chiaráin on Sunday or contact Brian at 086 3855494.

Registration 2017
takes place in the Clubhouse on Friday, 24th February from 6-9pm.  Call in for a chat and a cuppa, meet the managers and players.  Everyone who registers on or before the 24th is entered into a free draw for club gear, membership, lotto etc.  New players all ages and all abilities welcome.  Just come along or contact Teresa Small at 087 6799472.
